The contents section informs viewers a little bit of information about the artist's current status. This is done in an attempt to gain popularity, inform other artists about this artists whereabouts, and possibly even for the artists own satisfaction. Sometimes the artist writing this journal tells others who's friends they have as a means to show some form of social life. This only darkens the vale of shadow that the artist holds between them and their viewers. The artist wishes to expose their feelings in these journals, but for fear of public expose, only hide themselves more from others. Occasionally, an artist goes away and may not write a journal entry for a while, and when they return to write one, they find that nobody cares anymore. This may lead the artist to question those who consider themselves fans of the artist's work. In the end, only those who have isolated themselves from others become famous. Only those who do not wish for the warm comfort of friends will receive compassion. Only those unwilling to show their artwork to the world will have their works admired by all.

Sometimes the journal entry an artist begins leads into a tangent, and leads the few who read it to wonder what the artist was really getting at; what he was really trying to say. Only those who read this journals will understand what the artist is really getting at.

Add a cliche ending sentence or two to complete the journal entry and leave those who have read the article with a feeling of satisfaction.

Frequently, the artist forgets something they wanted to include in their current journal and adds it to the end of their current journal, rather than make an entirely new entry just to add in a couple of extra bits of information.
